@maiyannah Are you moving from #Prosody to #ejabberd? (re: "XMPP server is changing to ejabberd in the near future." in the header on HAC)

First of all I'm curious why, because I moved from ejabberd to prosody because the first was just a mess to administer and barely supported anything that I wanted a couple of years ago. Has that changed?

Also, there are migration scripts for accounts from ejabberd to prosody. Aren't there any the other way around?

@hobbsc You said it. The !xmpp service isn't running here because #Prosody still doesn't like the cert. Considering switching to #Ejabberd now.

@espionage724 #prosody (and its #metronome fork) is pretty simple to set up and administer. I can't compare vs #jabberd or #ejabberd because I've never used them.

@lnxwalt then you're #lucker. My #prosody instance disconnects me every 10 minutes from conferences on any #ejabberd powered server. That's why I migrate to #ejabberd.
