OK, got food for lunch, and a powersupply for my mini-travel USB hub. :) and the drilling has started again :( why can't they do that while I'm away?? !grrr

@mk it's doubly-irritating because I have an old (very old) HD platter hanging up teh wall that is resonating with the drilling - and presently I can't reach it to remove it :( !grrr

by now I have found out that I *do* need a new phone, or rather, a handset; thanks to a review of a similar router/modem I now know what to look for: a DECT/GAP handset (not just DECT, it needs to support GAP to interface with the Fritz!box 7360) - that's #progress - by why isn't this stuff already specified in the info I got with the router??? #grrr (I think I need a !grrr group... :() At least I know what to look for now.

@windigo The pages that really drive me nuts (I use noScript) are the ones that show you the text of the article for a second, then erase it saying they need Javascript. #grrr
