Since I am a member - why isn't !beer linkified?? :( #bug
-
/cc @mmn @erkanyilmaz
-
@morph OK, that seems to have worked (in spite of buglet in remote group subscription) - I'm now a member of the new !beer group. Still annoyed by the fact that the listing of the groups you're a member of appears in no particular order (i.e., likely DB physical order); didn't anyone figure that an 'ORDER BY' clause would be a good idea for user interfaces? !grrr
-
@mcscx so does google's 'shortener' :D and, I guess, many others - they just don't check the resulting size against the original's
-
do you know the !grumble group already ?
-
arrgh - Opera does strange things to my forms (and I'm not willing to spend very much time on it - I see no reason to accept that pushing a legend inside the fieldset border is 'normal' - especially when Chromium does no such thing) !grrr
-
@mk found a nice heater for a good price - but it was out of stock. They'll deliver one #tomorrow! #one.more.cold.night
-
going to shop for a new electric heater - I'm *cold* and my fingers are ghetting stiff !grrr

I have to ask: what is the "ArrayWrapper# "feature" (and what is it a feature of)?
-
@drak that's just for moral support :D but I'd welcome a \o/ group, too!
-
!grrr I hate Chromium. when I closed it just now, memory uses goes from 96% to just 13% (of 16Gb)... Firefox has never used so much memory for a similar amount of open tabs - yes many tabs, but that's not the point
-
!grrr struggling with a seemingly very old version of Smarty - I remember a lot but all sorts of things I remember _should_ work, don't :( Writing logic to test if something's in an array, instead of being able to use in_array() function, etc.
-
@mk Well, at least I'm learning fast how #Piwigo works - and it's quite "hackable", with good code structure, clear code and lots of comments. So, I'm actually having fun tweaking it to do my bidding :D #hackability
-
phew. I spent half a day trying to trace in #piwigo (of which I barely know the code structure) why/where an EXIF date was so oddly formatted; turns out the plugin that should do this dates from 2007, and refers to a piwigo bug as reason to NOT use the formatting function at all; this bug was fixed in 2010. !grrr #exifisfun

@erkanyilmaz waiting...
-
better !grrr with many many r's
-
@chalkahlom there's a group for that! !grrr :D
-
@grmpyoldman I didn't - I needed it myself ! :D
-
@mk welcome to the Grumble rumble !grrr @grmpyoldman :)
-
found a nice 'expressive' avatar for the !grrr group :D
-
btw, @grmpyoldman, given your nick, shouldn't you be a member of the !grrr group? :p
-
@mcscx I mean that I only tried that because using the same password for both (while not giving an error when checked) also did allow me to send mail. What other options are there?
-
meanwhile, I *finally* succeeded in setting my own 'header image' in Twitter. No word from T Support about why it didn't succeed at first (tried with both Chromium and Opera, so it's not the browser); this time, I made a new image. No idea why that works and the other didn't. !grrr
-
@mcscx Yes, I tried both the password I had just created and used for IMAP, and I also tried creating yet another app-specific password for SMTP. The first is accepted, the second is not. Regardless, I cannot send mail from K9. :( Gave up trying and used Thunderbird. But I really want K9 to work, too!
