@tobias oh, more weirdness... well, I can theoretically hve both the cabled connection and wifi - I had that problem with Dennis at first and didn't notice, because the wifi connection seamlessly (helped by buffering) took over. Now back in Groningen I'm having the same problem with Tine again. #suboptimal

I managed to transfer my whole Firefox profile from Dennis to Tine, using "USB sneakernet". Still need to do the same for Thunderbird profile and KeePass database. Meanwhile Wifi networking is giving me a lot of grief, and the ethernet-USB 3.1 Type C adapter hasn't arrived yet ... #suboptimal but at least I'm making (slow) progress. #tine

@mk working on my 'Next plan'; problem: the rescue *image* sits in a file on an external disk; that disk needs to be mounted before I can reference it to be mounted - so I added TWO lines to fstab: one for the disk, and one (after that) for the image to be mounted. It fails, because the line for the disk is noted, but it isn't *actually* mounted until accessed; so then the image isn't mounted either, so my home directory doesn't exist, ... and I cannot log in. Unless I log in as root first, mount the disk, mount the image, log out, log in as myself. That is #suboptimal. :( But it does work.

@erkan @andstatus well, !grrr - I installed from F-Droid which has version 9 as its latest version; Settings->Apps sees it as installed, but when I go to the 'Play' store (which has version 15) 'Uninstall' and 'Open' are the only options. So it seems I have to uninstall first just to upgrade. #suboptimal *please* keep the version on F-Droid up to date as well!
