@eaglehooves I haven't even booted into Windows 7 at home in a year, so with this desktop upgrade I've dumped it entirely.

@eaglehooves If you're new to Linux, you probably want to avoid it. While the wiki is exceedingly helpful, there's a lot of manual work done in the beginning. The upside is that with its rolling releases, not only are you always kept up to date, but there are never hugely-breaking changes typical of OSes that have 'huge' releases periodically like Ubuntu, Fedora, and so on.

@ceruleanspark Last night's dream started off like that, including a special intro to the 'episode' which billed it as a spinoff of the original series, but then transitioned into me being a part of the events.

@ceruleanspark That is seriously awesome. The sake and wine in my dream made things interesting, but no physical intimacy since my dreams rarely involve that.

On another note, I spent some time before my commute this morning finishing putting together the mini-ITX desktop, since the backup finished late last night after I had gone to bed. Next up, #archlinux on #UEFI and #GPT.

@theawesomepinkpony Didn't skip anything. There's a program for high-scoring students where I grew up that allows one to attend college instead and get a college degree at the same time as a high school diploma.
