  1. @bronymike !vancouverbronies Well, I put up the SurveyMonkey thing which is really basic and it's got 11 responses so far. What do you want to go with? You had expressed concerns about using Facebook for it and I had my own concerns, so I set that up.

  2. @mcbrony @bronymike !vancouverbronies I don't see that we really need one (this works fine, generally), and I think it makes more sense to have one go-to place for group stuff, rather than fragment our presence across multiple sites. Also, I despise Facebook and try to use it as little as humanly possible, but that's just me. :)

  3. @noirbatch It's pretty cool. I doubt the chocolate is much good, but that's really kind of a secondary concern here...

  4. @pony Shoppers Drug Mart. I think this particular product is only in Canada but I could be wrong.

  5. @spectrumflash !vancouverbronies It's the reality of the situation, unfortunately.

  6. !vancouverbronies My partner found some pony Easter candy at Shoppers: http://dearprincesscelestia.com/random/pony-egg-1.jpg http://dearprincesscelestia.com/random/pony-egg-2.jpg http://dearprincesscelestia.com/random/pony-egg-3.jpg http://dearprincesscelestia.com/random/pony-egg-4.jpg

  7. !vancouverbronies With those things in mind I created a real quick SurveyMonkey survey for people to indicate if they're coming: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/FFWVZ9Z

  8. @fang8989 @bronymike !vancouverbronies Yeah, my other concerns about Facebook would be a) I wouldn't want people to have to sign up for it just to RSVP and b) the very fact that it will get plenty of people's attention, and I don't think we want the attendance numbers to get out of hand.

  9. @echron1000 @thepuzzldpirate The library's downtown at West Georgia and Homer.

  10. @bronymike !vancouverbronies I think we've already got the down payment covered. But yes, we need a projector or television and an internet connection.

  11. @echron1000 Personally I'd rather just have people contribute what they can, rather than make this a ticket thing.

  12. @echron1000 Take a deep breath. :) We'll have the money either way. @thepuzzldpirate said he'd be willing to cover any shortfall, and I'm willing to put in extra if necessary too.

  13. !vancouverbronies I certainly wouldn't be averse to it being in the evening after the Fan Expo stuff. I'm supposed to have an RPG session in the afternoon that I'll skip if necessary (I'd rather have to skip it than miss this), but if I didn't have to that would also be cool. But whatever works for more people, of course.

  14. @garyoak Really? I've been transferred funds with PayPal and they go over very quickly (same day).

  16. !vancouverbronies So where is this happening? I'm happy to contribute money. Is there some way I can do that without having to coordinate meeting somebody, i.e., PayPal or the like?

  17. @thepuzzldpirate !vancouverbronies I was looking at VPL - the smaller rooms (~60 people) are about $200 for 4 hours and it would be another $50 for a TV (doesn't say how big): http://www.vpl.ca/rooms/pdf/2012_LSCCrates.pdf

  18. @thepuzzldpirate !vancouverbronies Hmm. We need a place that can accommodate a fair number of people with a reasonably large TV that we can plug a laptop or whatever into. Anyone?

  25. @pinhooves I'll probably drop in, though I can't stay long. Got an Ironclaw session tomorrow afternoon.
