I don't hate the earlier generations as a rule, but I think that document underlines how badly they lost the thread in G3.

@ceruleanspark Well, G4 ponies love horse food, do occasionally wear saddles, pull carts and carriages, are shown as carousel horses on one of the toys... the fact that they're treated as horses in a number of ways runs pretty contrary to what they were going for in G3.
