  1. @toksyuryel Yeah I have no clue why it's doing that. I'm going to have to go into full debug mode one of these days. Also federation broke and I'm not getting your replies blaah

  3. @toksyuryel I have. It's just not public. (Well, actually, it technically is, but the URL is not exactly guessable.)

  6. @toksyuryel Anyone who looks the term up, knowing full well it's you we're talking about, should really know what they're in for already. :p

  8. @toksyuryel would now be a bad time to mention that I still use Winamp

  9. @toksyuryel Why? It's probably the best Windows IRC client I've ever used.

  10. @toksyuryel ...Which is what made me switch to XChat-WDK, which is much better functionally.

  11. @toksyuryel Fork, that's just a port. :p

  12. @toksyuryel That is literally the worst fork of XChat ever made. I got hit by an exploit that froze it and only it whenever I connected to CanterNet.

  13. @toksyuryel This is exactly what I was thinking. xD

  14. @toksyuryel I did forget about that, I wouldn't even know any channels to join, if any, or the server location v.v

  16. @pandavondrunk @toksyuryel Thank you two for your time. I'm still not feeling happy or so, but at least the urges are at a level I can ignore them right now...

  17. @toksyuryel Oh yeah, plush, good idea, I keep forgetting that...

  18. @toksyuryel On the other hand, the ideal would be starting with the pure-HTML/CSS version and progressively enhancing it to the current regular version if Javascript is on. Kinda disappointed they don't do that.

  19. @toksyuryel How would they redirect you? A <meta> directive would redirect everyone instead of just the non-JS users, and setting location.href would require javascript.

  20. @toksyuryel After all, that version of the site does require Javascript, so it's not technically wrong.

  21. @toksyuryel I see what you're getting at, but "This site requires Javascript, but here's a link to our non-Javascript version." seems a pretty good compromise to me.

  22. @toksyuryel His search engine is also vehemently against more or less all of the bad things you could do with javascript.

  23. @toksyuryel They also have a HTML and Lite version which don't require Javascript, but the search query doesn't seem to appear in the title. So, you'll have to type "table flip" in by yourself: https://duckduckgo.com/html/

  24. @toksyuryel That version does. They also provide a link to the static version from the same warning.
