@toksyuryel I think the best part of all this is that because it's a dreambubble, Jack won't even get to meaningfully stab anything because they're all either ghosts (who can't normally die, else Caliborn: Enter's events wouldn't have been special) or dreamers (who'll just wake up).

@toksyuryel Oh, good point. I guess that "double <symbol> to literal <symbol>" is only for the other ones (like ` if you want to not start a code block), then.

@toksyuryel The other two buttons are colour (one foreground, one background), which is not really all that useful in the first place, so I'm not too sad to be losing those. And untagged rot13 is a bad idea anyway in the post-RDNPlus site, so again not too bad (except for when looking through posts that predate the change, but that's a far less common case, so it doesn't really outweigh the benefits).

@toksyuryel It doesn't rot13 on the user end, it rot13's at the server end. And the button only rot13's things that were in spoiler blocks when posted. Which is different, but actually more convenient imo.
