!vancouverbronies Heh, I think I'm actually somehow goin' to BroNYCon. 8th's off the table for me, as is its surrounding weekend, but do what'cha want, I won't be choked up if I can't make it to every one. I'll still make an effort to go to the Vancouverbronies meetups when I can, though.
-
!vancouverbronies Of course, bear in mind that you'll all need passports and permission if you're underage if you're hoping to go to Everfree.

!vancouverbronies I'm going and I'll be willing to drive 3-4 other people in exchange for gas and whatever parking costs.
Wednesday, 21-Dec-11 19:23:17 UTC from web -
@asvendius !vancouverbronies Yeah, thanks. I'd still like to be caught up to speed if possible, particularly regarding any plans we've currently got in the works.
-
!vancouverbronies You've gotta be goddamn kidding me. My damn feed wasn't updating me on this channel for the past like month and a half and I didn't find out I've been missing stuff until this Nightly Roundup. AAAAAAUGH.
-
@tigerdusk !vancouverbronies Someone said otherwise, but I certainly hope it is (or at least it's moved to it), it should be at least a month between larger-scale meetups.
-
@danm Usually Surrey or Richmond, one of the cities near Vancouver. Not sure exactly which laser tag place it'd be at, but I'm pretty sure it won't be in actual Vancouver, that's mostly office buildings.
-
@danm On occasion. If you haven't already, you can join the !vancouverbronies group. Our meetups are on the mainland, though, but we usually have one every month or two. I believe the next one we're hoping to do is some time in December and it'll be laser tag.
-
@thunderdash !vancouverbronies However, we'll want to have it rented out in advance, we'll need to know how many people will be attending because we might use up all their equipment at once or something. I don't know how many people can play at once but I think it's like 30-40. We could totally get a group rate, too, but to do that there'll need to be a downpayment.
-
@garyoak Hey, are you available? I forget if I ever added you on Skype, and our current SYTYAB guest isn't on right now.
-
@tigerdusk These are great so far. Awesome work.
-
@thepuzzldpirate !vancouverbronies the Planet Lazer should be sometime in December, I think. I know some people will have midterms and whatnot, but it'll be nice to unwind and it's best to have a reasonable gap between the larger meetups.
-
@tigerdusk Thanks. Say, think you could try drawing Pokey Smokes, Queen Meanie, and Black Snooty, Pinkie's alternate names for Nightmare Moon from the pilot?
-
@tigerdusk Great work, I love it. I didn't realize at first that she was poppin' a balloon.
-
@tigerdusk Yup, Gilda getting a haircut. If you want, the barber can be Snips.
-
@andranator2 Yup, Trixie eating a pinecone.
-
@tigerdusk Got it and replied.
-
@tigerdusk Think you could go on Youtube and PM it to BronyMike? I've also got Skype under the name MikeOShay.
-
@tigerdusk Hey, think you could give me your phone number on here or Youtube or something in case I need to contact you?
-
!vancouverbronies Paraphrased from Tigerdusk just one last time before I go to bed: For all Bronies in Vancouver, we've got a meet coming up! We're going bowling and hanging out at a nearby mall afterwards, anyone interested just show up. We'll be meeting at the Starbucks in front of Holdom Skytrain station at noon on Sunday, Oct. 30 (many of us will be wearing pony shirts and stuff) :3. Tigerdusk will be in his yellow AJ cutie mark shirt). At 1pm we'll walk over to the bowling alley which is very close to the sky train station itself. Dusk's got 3 lanes reserved and most of the expenses covered (bring 7-10$ just in case if you do plan to bowl). Be prepared in case of rain. Feel free to bring some sort of Halloween costume if you want to.

!vancouverbronies Also, costume-wise, if you've got a cool outfit you wanna show off, go ahead and wear it. I've got something in my car that I'll probably put on if there's anyone else wearin' stuff, and since Halloween's on Monday this year, it's to be expected that some people will be wearin' outfits on Sunday.
-
!vancouverbronies Just a reminder, though, prepare for rain. As in proper Vancouverbronies meetup tradition, we picked the one day that there's a high chance of downpour. We can pass it off as Vancouver pride or something.

@thepuzzldpirate Hey, maybe. We'll see. You goin' to the meetup?
-
@tigerdusk Maybe, but I'm a bit busy most of the time, might be best to mostly hang on the planned meetups.
-
@tigerdusk !vancouverbronies Yeah, that's the campus. I live in White Rock, though.
-
@thepuzzldpirate !vancouverbronies Oh, nothing, I just think it'd be cool to hang out with someone at school someday. My classes are all pretty late at night, though.
-
!vancouverbronies Hey guys, just wondering, does anyone else in this group go to Kwantlen? Particularly the Surrey campus.
-
@drewdle !vancouverbronies Of course you can come along! This group's for anyone who'd be willing to attend. By all means, if you wanna make the trip, you can join us.
-
!vancouverbronies C/P from Tigerdusk: "This is for the meeting that is happening on the 30th at 1 pm. The place is Rev's bowling alley and it's just beside holdom station (you have to take the millenium line sky train) Everyone seemed to want to meet up 1 hr earlier at noon from what I gathered, and finally the meeting place that would be conviniant is the Starbucks literally 30 seconds outside of Holdom skytrain station. I'll be outside or inside depending on the weather. You can spot me in the yellow Apple Jack cutie mark T-shirt. I'll repost this info again on the week of. Anyone got any questions, it would be a good time to ask."
-
@tigerdusk !vancouverbronies I agree, but I've seen some meetup footage of people who have taken it too far and just crossed the line into becoming obnoxious people who don't give a apples that they're bothering those around them. I just don't want that to become the norm and to become what people will associate with the fandom. We've been doing well so far, I just want to remind people to keep your common sense. Bear in mind that other people want to have their own fun times without ponies, so we don't wanna be forceful or annoying. Bowling alleys are noisy, so we shouldn't use our speakers when we're there, but maybe if we go to a park or something we can use them there. Either way, I forgot to tag it when I reposted the meetup info, so I'm gonna re-repost it.
