  1. @silvermink Just got it, thanks. Yeah, I thought that's what you meant, I don't know how to send a DM.

  2. @silvermink DM? And 778-378-0790.

  3. @silvermink Hey. Some people are definitely gonna want to keep hanging out all day. I plan to, at least. We might still be in the PNE, though, so bear in mind that after noon you have to pay to enter.

  4. @silvermink Definitely. Does Jayson also live in Vancouver? Because if I'm not mistaken, he's going to attend BroNYcon, so that surprises me. I was considering asking Daniel Ingram on Facebook if he'd be interested in going to this PNE meetup. He was hoping to attend Northwest Bronyfest in Portland, Oregon, but he had to be somewhere. The reason I picked what is, to be fair, a strange date for a meetup (a Monday, where a weekend's almost always a better idea) is because it's an easy place to find, it's something that would be fairly central for the group (people coming from all directions), and it doesn't require anyone to pay anything. If your meetup idea can at least partially fill most of those, go for it.

  5. !vancovuerbronies @flutterguy22 That depends. Entry is free, however entry to the part of the park with a lot of rides and stuff might have to be paid for, and you'll want to factor in if you want to get anything for breakfast/lunch/dinner and if you'll need money for transit/parking.

  6. !vancouverbronies @cracky so, did you wind up checking out the parking/ticket/cash situation?

  7. Whoo, Bronyfest comin' out. Made up a physical copy of Super Ponybeat and I'm gonna get it signed by Eurobeat Brony.

  10. !vancouverbronies @cracky Thanks, Cracky, I think that park should work well for a meeting place. Do you know if access to the PNE also grants any access to Playland? Also, do you know if there's any charge for parking at the PNE?

  11. !vancouverbronies Northwest Bronyfest is this coming weekend (Aug. 6-7) down in Portland, Oregon. Sorry if I never mentioned it in this group. I'm going and would be willing to drive down 1-3 more people. You may need to find your own lodging, though. People from Seattle are planning here: http://www.meetup.com/Bronies-SeaTac/events/20391381/ and may be able to help by offering hotel space and whatnot. More info from the Seattle people (including info on where/when everyone's meeting in Portland) is at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UaEr6sWJ2UUkAXmeY0zyateYMd2D52nzGdlWI7s9iqs/edit?hl=en_US&pli=1. It includes info for people carpooling in Washington but the rest of it still applies to all people interested. Email at bronymike@derpymail.com if you wanna catch a ride, just make sure you've got a passport.

  12. !vancouverbronies @john We can probably get lunch as a group (or as several small groups) at the PNE, but if some people stick around long enough we can surely go somewhere and grab some dinner. Could depend on the size of the group, though, but maybe we could all hit up a restaurant. Again, though, I'm not sure what's in the immediate area since I'm down in White Rock. @cracky Have you checked the area for any good parks to meet up at yet? @silvermink Yeah, sorry that this won't work with everyone's schedule, but it's the only day the event's free and keeping the meetup cheap is probably a good idea, at least at this stage.

  13. !Vancouverbronies @john @cracky I think a park would probably be the best option if there's anything nearby. A parking lot would be good, but I'm hoping to set aside a full hour for meeting up and I'd like to avoid loitering too much.

  14. !vancouverbronies Hey guys, @Flutterbro made this flag up. My quick past of Dash onto the BC flag was one thing, but this is what I really wanted the group to have, the BC flag redone with imagery from the show (tiara and sun). I think he did a good job!

Saturday, 30-Jul-11 15:33:45 UTC from web in context
  15. @flutterbro Neat, this is pretty much what I was hoping for, the current flag put up in the show's style. The tiara looks a bit like a spaceship, though. I'll put it up.

  16. !vancouverbronies Just a warning, I imagine it'll be pretty busy. I live down in White Rock so I can't really survey the area to come up with a good meeting place, so if anyone has anything in mind post it up. Free entry is from 9-12 so I figure we start meeting up at 10 and then aim to enter at 11.

  17. @derpy Oh, you mean putting it in my bookmarks. I don't know, I'd just rather not have another thing to always have to keep checking. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 08:15:47 UTC from web in context
  18. @derpy But that posts messages on those groups. If there was an email function for them, stuff like that would be pretty annoying. I wish there was more notification stuff in the groups, it'd make it a lot easier to plan meetups.

Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 08:07:41 UTC from web in context
  19. !vancouverbronies I'm still thinkin' the best plan is free entry to the PNE on Monday the 22nd.

Wednesday, 27-Jul-11 08:05:11 UTC from web in context
  20. Are messages sent to groups I'm in supposed to email me? Because that would be useful, otherwise I don't know what the hell's been happening in my group.

  21. Drawfriends! It's the BronyMike Trixie Pinecone Challenge! Draw a picture of Trixie eating a pinecone. Send it to me. What I've gotten so far has been awesome: http://bronymike.imgur.com/the_trixie_pinecone_challenge

  22. I NEED TO COLLECT PICTURES OF THE GREAT AND POWERFUL TRIXIE EATING A PINECONE. PONY OR HUMAN, DOESN'T MATTER.

  23. Should I link my RDNet on my Youtube somewhere?

Wednesday, 20-Jul-11 06:33:14 UTC from web in context
  24. @ans1 Hey, might as well try. If you make something and I like it better than the current one (two RBDs saluting the BC flag) then I'll put it up.

Wednesday, 20-Jul-11 01:31:13 UTC from web in context
  25. @ans1 I'd love to just see the BC flag but redone in the visual style of MLP (the sun replaced with Celestia's and whatnot) and maybe decide whether or not to keep the Rainbow Dashes in there. You'd be on your own for actually finding the images to work from, though.

  26. !vancouverbronies SO! the PNE's free on Monday, August 22nd, from 9-12. Sound like a good time for a meetup? Also, anybrony know if that includes Playland or if there's discounted entry to that or something?

  29. @abigpony I copied the image straight from Firefox to the programs. I'll try saving it first.

  30. For some reason Rainbow Dash is pasting into Illustrator and Photoshop with a black background instead of a transparent one.
