@mewzs There's a portal to another universe under Canterlot. Every so often, more portals appear. These black crystals are somehow connected to the embodiments of evil.

@mewzs I...uh...I kinda lied to you. Didn't want ya to get all panicky over it. Just common fare, evil manifestation of Greed, y'know. Twi kinda gave into it and restored your sight, although you were sleepin', and made me blind. It all got resolved, though! *nervous grin*
