!stlouisbronies I've gotten an e-mail from kelou4's mailing list suggesting a meetup in Granite City, IL. It's in a pumpkin patch not to far off of Route 111, happening on the 23rd. Of course, if you're already on the mailing list you might already know of it, but...I'm just throwing it out there.

!stlouisbronies I've been looking at potential locations--and I've been thinking maybe a good central location would be a great start. I know we mentioned the arch at one point, and I've actually called Windows Off Washington for a potential private party room for a small group of approximately 20-30 people. This is, money and suggestions pending, probably going to be our default meetup (I want to start things off with a bang here). The sales rep has not gotten back with me yet (which is just as well, considering that nothing's set in stone), but I've noticed that since we got bronies all around the general county, maybe we should centralize so we don't have to go as far. ...Like, for example, we've got one closer towards O'Fallon, one more in the general direction of Ballwin...so, perhaps instead of just all meeting up at St. Louis, we could all meet more-or-less halfway, around Olivette or Creve Coeur or something. I AM willing to factor in suggestions.

!stlouisbronies Alright, bronies, I'm not sure if all y'alls heard the news, but there's a meetup going to be happening in Fort Scott going to be happening next Saturday, going to be lasting three days following the whole weekend. Bronies from Kansas, Missouri, Oaklahoma, and Arkansas will be there. ...problem IS, it's in FORT SCOTT (which is like 5 hours away...even further than Joplin). Seeing as how I'd rather not go on another five-to-six hour road trip again, what say we get down to creating something around here? If you had an idea or a place to meet up at, where would you say would be good?

!stlouisbronies I agree that the Arch Meetup would be an interesting location to meet up...but, like epicplatypus, I'm about half an hour away from the city and I don't have reliable transportation. I'm in North County myself. ...I wouldn't mind a few suggestions of a possible location, though.
