@shred316 Maybe... Cooperation might be an issue. There's no way a director could get the same results out of volunteers. People could always say "do it this way or I walk away", and you couldn't mandate deadlines. I do some server stuff for a friend, and there's a lot of "I don't care how bad you need it or how far I'm behind; my real job is in the way. Hire a professional or wait a week."

@shred316 Try to get back in touch with him through other means. The best way to solve problems between yourself and someone else is by talking it out.

@shred316 Seriously, apologize. And make sure he knows you mean it. After that he will shrug your apology off, but if he was a best friend as you say, he should forgive and drift back in time.
