Off the top of my head there's VecTripper which is remarkably fast and well designed, but only works on Altivec processors (i.e. PowerPC), and there's 4brute which has a pretty fast bitslicing implementation that's quite hard to track down. Other than that there's TONS of trippers that use DES or some other library, because they're quite easy to put together. I suggest reading the tripcode stuff on /soc/, and perhaps also dig through old /prog/ threads, and I'll leave it at that because this isn't pony-related at all.

  14. @fnordly You could write a tripcode finder from scratch in like five minutes. I don't really see anything wrong with that article though. (Btw, I know WAY too much about the implementation of various imageboards, and used to post a lot on /soc/)
