@hayseed Eh, depends on the music. I would argue that drums can really be the backbone of a lot of music, but maybe that's just personal bias.

@scribus @hayseed It's a great first instrument to learn, because the setup of the notes makes it easy to learn scales, intervals, etc.

@hayseed My brother let me try his violin once. I sounded like a dying animal on fire falling down 3 flights of stairs. It's a challenging instrument to learn.

@hayseed I studied a bit of piano for theory, but my main instrument is drums/percussion. I'm planning on picking up the guitar sometime in the future as well, but drums will always be my passion. I have a brother who plays violin as well.

@hayseed I've done a bit of voice acting for a friend of mine who has recently taken up animation, but it's not something I could see myself pursuing. In terms of jobs, I'm currently employed at a local pizza shop.
