@policeman Being more honest, the fandom has actually pushed me away from it lately with some of the shenannigans occuring. It was nice to spend a "normal" evening out with some close brony friends without it turning into an "OMG PONIES" fest.

@policeman Being honest, I went for the music. Getting to meet her was just icing on the damn cake. I didn't realise she was so down-to-earth about her fans! ^_^ (though I'm sure a crowd of screaming Otaku Brony Fanboys would have sent her running for the hills... hence why we played it casual. Our shirts were mostly zipped/buttoned up until she made the comment about one of our shirts.)

[b]Friendship is Magic from the Japanese Perspective[/b]: This was actually in the roundup where a good majority of analysis style articles go, but I figured I'd split it off. It is pretty enlightening to see how exactly Friendship is Magic is forseen in Japanese culture. Fluttershy for example is apparently battling the top three positions with Cheerilee and Big Mac as best ponies. @scribus The best part? We went super low-key and just enjoyed the music, and let her notice the shirts and make the first comment.
