  3. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony That, and the latest issue of Linux Format has an article called "how to hack". I think that is just as much of the reason why he installed MInt.

  4. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Yea, Mint was my intro to Linux as well. Aside from it being on a 5400rpm drive, I quite like how it runs, and if it weren't for a driver issue I'd toss my copy of Win 7 and put it on the big drive pretty quick. I just refuse to define it as "hacking".

  5. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony If Ratchet & Clank taught me anything, it's that hacking consists of rolling balls into place so that an electric spark can use them as a bridge to make it to its destination.

  7. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Mint is hardly for hackers. It's a great alternative to Windows, but all the computer majors I know are using stuff further off the beaten path.

  9. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony Lol tell your friend, step one to hacking... don't tell everyone your hacking. It usually works out better in the end. also a Livecd distro of Linux is a nice middle ground for the whole "trying it out" thing.

  18. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony I made it last night, it is/was Dark chocolate with vanilla icing in the middle, and chocolate icing on top (which I mixed with vanilla on the advice of fellow RDN ponies to give a neat marble effect) http://ur1.ca/7jr8q

  24. @lilytheamazingfaintingpony I'm not sure if even Rarity would like it, but I could see Twilight picking it apart piece by piece :P (And occasionally having fun poked at her because she shares the same name as a book series she clearly despises)
