@mushi I looked up butterflies that live in the area and it seems to be a Heraclides thoas brasiliensis, Thoas Swallowtail or King Swallowtail, so it's a related south american variety of the same family of the north american Black Swallowtail.

@mushi the second one was pretty boring looking, it was smal and pale yellow without anything in special

@mushi No, it's different. Longer in relation to thickness, and it has no bumps on the "tail" part.

@mushi Neat. I think I have three of those spiders in my house and they mostly feed on roaches. There's also the thin long legged ones but I have no pics of them.

@mushi Oh well. If it helps it's about an inch long, I took the pic at the beginning of december, and it's white when empty.
