!raleighbronies Apparently I am so excited that I completely messed up my post. Can those of us who can make it contribute a little something for the rental space? Any amount would help. We're trying to book a neutral location so even the below-18s can come. The rental mark is around $200 right now, and we've only got about $50 in the proverbial pot. I'll bring you caaaaaake~!

!raleighbronies We really don't *have* to have a kitchen. However, I do have some chocolate making ideas that were pretty fun last time I did them, and we could always play pin the tail on the pony. :3 It's playing the ripped episodes that's the biggest problem, as most public space rental agreements include that you must have a public viewing permit for anything you show.

!raleighbronies The apartment spaces at flootershai's friend's place and mine are our only options where we pay a flat fee for the space for the day. If someone has anything that would be cheaper that has enough space for everypony and a kitchen for @flootershai, we're open to it, as we would rather not have to get the group to spend $200 collectively for space if we don't have to.

!raleighbronies If we can't get the clubhouse space mentioned in my response to rawrborny, most of those options will unfortunately go away. Every rental option we have looked into costs around $200, the local libraries would shut down any episode watching and games, local community centers close at 3pm on Saturdays, and a studio hotel room is going to be both too small and not somewhere under 18s can get dropped off.

!raleighbronies If we can get the space, we're looking at: watching some Season 1 episodes along with a rip of the Season 2 episode that plays in the morning courtesy of r/mylittlepony, papercraft, a trip to a local Target for FiM stuffs if anyone wants to buy any, dinner at a cheap fast food place, along with Rock Band fun and madness. @flootershai,@nekoneko918, and Andrew, if there's anything I left out, feel free to add on.

@flootershai !raleighbronies A location rental you say? This sounds pretty involved. Are you still shooting for next weekend? Any events planned? If I can make it to something like that after this month, I can cover a big chunk of the expenses. I can get the whole $200 covered if needed or more. I'd also be willing to pitch in some prizes if there are any contests or the like. Although I think if you are going to start spending money rather than just meeting at a location, there should be some events and a promise of a reasonable turnout. It'd be a shame to go to all that effort if no one but the organizers and friends turn up :(

@redenchilada Unfortunately, only 2 people brought drinks to the !ntxbronies meetup I was just at, and Ice Water wasn't on the menu. The Apple Juice did manage to last the entire meetup, though, so at least we had that.

@mezgrman I don't know YES THIS IS CRAZY AND PROBABLY THE MOST DESPERATE WAY THAT IT'S JUST THAT CRAZY, BUT when no one's home or it's late I imagine really hard, whilst my blanket over mai head and body, AGAIN I FEEL SHAMEFUL FOR SUCH AN ABSURD WAY BUT I DON'T KNOW I HAVE A STRONG IMAGINATION
