  20. @nixter i really have a dislike for religion. I also don't get how atheism is considered a religion when it's more a lack of it. *shrug pony*

  21. @nixter athiest if that is considered a religion.

  22. @nixter i think most athiests are just looking for truth and logic while we see religion as a grab bag of excuses.

  23. @nixter I feel similarly. Our church's beliefs are summed up officially in 12 articles. http://www.lds.org/library/display/0,4945,106-1-2-1,FF.html The last phrase is thus: "If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things." Truth is certainly one of the things we seek after.

  24. @nixter @abigpony Tehre's a point at which "Why" has no answer, not because there is none, but because it either hasn't been discovered or hasn't been revealed to us yet. I've found my belief system to make adequate sense, especially compared with others I've come across.

  25. @nixter hehe* yeah. I've talked to many atheists. Italy has quite a few despite being predominantly Catholic. THat's where I served my mission

  26. @nixter eh. It's not that bad. The mold was worse. Fleas were worse than both combined, though. The point i'm making here is that it can always be worse.

  27. @nixter yeah. That's how most feel about it. I mean we have doctrines, ecclesiastical organization, and ceremonies, but really religion is something that you live if you believe in it

  30. @nixter yup. Anyway, friends' families were usually pretty cool. My church had a very active youth program and their parents were often in charge of activities and he had tons of fun
