@schwarzen Oh, I'm into a little bit of everything. I guess as far as hip-hop goes I love a lot of the classics like the ones we've mentioned so far and others like Wu-Tang Clan (as well as a bunch of the solo projects), Nas, 2Pac, Company Flow, Black Star (as well as the solo stuff Talib Kweli and Mos Def), and De La Soul, among others (that's just off the top of my head). I'm also really big into a lot of experimental hip-hop, with some personal favourites being Cannibal Ox, Shabazz Palaces, clipping, Cities Aviv, J Dilla, MF Doom, Doseone (and pretty much any project he's affiliated with like Deep Puddle Dynamics, cLOUDDEAD, and Subtle), The Constructus Corporation, Billy Woods, Aesop Rock, Antipop Consortium, Shahmen, Quasimoto (and anything Madlib related), Chance the Rapper, and of course Death Grips (of which my fandom has attracted many a joke here). I'm also into a bunch of other genres and there are a lot of other hip-hop artists I like but off the cuff that's some faves.

@schwarzen Yes, it is indeed Shinobu. And for what it's worth I've seen a lot of people come and go from this site, it's reasonable to think I might lose track of a few I've only seen in passing. Glad to have you back anyway, you seem cool and you know Madoka Magica as well as Monogatari so you've already earned brownie points with me.

@schwarzen Yeah when I first joined I was pretty awkward and maladjusted. My logon schedule was pretty sporadic and I'd only really come on every now and then to talk to a few people, but I've since been coming on a lot more frequently the past year or so and now I'm a bonafide regular myself (heck, if you've been lurking here you've probably seen me). I too haven't watched the show since 2013, and for the same reasons.

@schwarzen The community's definitely evolved a lot in the past few years. As you can at this point it's really only an MLP site in name, actual discussion about the show here is sparse and short.
