@schwarzen The show is extremely wacky and cartoony. The comedic elements are mostly insane. It might not appeal in the first place but I've grown into the style pretty quickly. Speaking of style: The mix of 3D and 2D animation and photos does work in that show in my opinion and is a lot better animated than you might expect. If you listen closely to the background noises sometimes you'll find a tune that triggers your nostalgia buttons. I can't fully, without any doubt, recommend it to everyone because of the insanity that takes place in that show but I think a try wouldn't hurt. It amused me so far.

@schwarzen That was pretty good, it sort of fell apart in its second half but overall I enjoyed it, the resonant themes of youth in revolt were well executed. Far from my favourite Watanabe series but I've enjoyed everything he's directed.

@schwarzen The fandom is fine. The radical expansionary phase died ages back and as a result, a lot of the people who were only around to try and get "Horse famous" went to hassle other fandoms instead.
