@ikasamabrony @phoenixswift Could you guys make the reservation at the one that's a block from the c-train?? I don't know if this helps but you can also make reservations over the phone if you don't want to physically go there. But enjoy the adventure if you go anyways:) !calgarybronies

!calgarybronies @ikasamabrony I think pizza at Boston Pizza is a great idea, much more inclusive. My suggestion would be to reserve a table for 6:30 and people can arrive when they can, and we could wait until 7 or until most bronies show up to order. Would 6:30 Sunday be good for most ponies? Also I support meeting at the chinook BP if its by the train. But could anypony put the address up for it? I got to rush off to class...

!calgarybronies EEEEEEEeeeee! I just ordered some of the extra stock pins from pinfilly! I feel a little guilty about spending money on poney pins...but I'm more excited to get my applejack pin! I'm anxiously awaiting the next pre-orders though so I can get my Lyra and Bonbon <3

!calgarybronies Alright so I checked out the site today, its going to be fun! We got lots of space. ***Remember bronies we are at site 6!*** Here is a map http://www.calgary.ca/CSPS/Parks/Documents/Locations/bowness-map.pdf and here is my feeble attempt at directions to find the site since its a big park. When you get to the entrance make a left and follow the road straight. You should pass a white sign that says "Sites 3-7", so you'll know your on the right path. Take the road to the last parking lot, you'll be able to see the stoney trail bridge. Once your there you should be right in front of site 5, walk on straight ahead from there and you'll see site 6. The sites are marked with brown signs near the center of the sites. Hope I didn't confuse anyone.

!calgarybronies @conjure YAY for you at being good at cooking with charcoal! All hail charcoal BBQ brony!! I'm bringing two smaller bags of briquettes, in case we need more. I'm probably going to be taking a cab home from Bowness to Dalhousie, if anyone is going that way they can come with me. Also I'll post my full list of what I'm bringing tomorrow, after I finish my shopping of course.

!calgarybronies Wow! I'm happy to see BBQ plans seem to be going in full force, I do have a question for you guys though. I bought a portable charcoal BBQ on Monday which I will be bringing, in addition to the two stands and fire pit that will be there. However do we have any experienced charcoal BBQ cooks out there? I think I'll be adequate but if somepony is experienced and wants to help out that would be great! Its a bit trickier than gas for sure. Just let me know

All though it turns out my school program orientation is that morning so I would have had to book it off anyways.

!calgarybronies Hi everypony! So the BBQ is now less then two weeks away so I wanted to get some of the details sorted out. Once again its September 9th, Bowness park picnic site 6, and I'll be there by 5pm but come whenever you can make it (we have the site from 3:15-9:15). No RSVP is necessary but I'm going to to ask if you know you can come for sure please send me an email at bbq.vanillabellepony@gmail.com just let me know your coming and if you have any diet/allergy preferences. This is just so I know roughly how much food to bring (but don't worry I'll bring lots in case extra people show up!). @conjure @neonlightning I'm glad family bronies are coming, that's cool! @phoenixswift *sniff sniff* you forgot me already? Also it's super accessible for public transit users. Maybe we should go for drinks to celebrate season 2 sometime? After that we will have to go on the hunt to find a pegasus and earth pony pub haha.

!calgarybronies @conjure Love it! We could make smores as well, and if some people don't like hamburgers we could also cook hot dogs that way! If you didn't mind bringing a bag of charcoal that would be perfect, I talked to a lady on the phone and she said she would try to make sure that we have dry wood for the fire pit, but we will need charcoal for the BBQ for sure. I'm going to check things out this Thursday or over the weekend just to make sure, I've been to some BBQ's at this park before but I've never organized one so I'm still figuring out what all we will need. But I'll get back to you on that shortly! Yay! I'm getting excited about this though it should be fun. Too bad about Darcy though, I was hoping he'd be able to get it off :(

!calgarybronies @asylum1113 BBQ is September 9th at the Bowness Park, picnic site 6. We have the area reserved for bronies from 3:15 until 9:15, although you can stay as late as you wish. Most people sound like they are coming between 5:30-6ish. I myself will try to be there earlier to set up (I work too though so not sure how early, will be aiming for 430-5). If anypony else wants to come early to help that would be great. We can also make a list of who is coming and if they are bringing anything closer to the date. You should totally come as I've never met you! And friendship is magical ect.

!calgarybronies @moneybags BBQ is still on assuming you bronies still want it to be :) I just got back into the country from my trip to San Diego, so my brain is a bit tired from the overnight flight over (can't ever sleep on planes), but I'll post a reminder and details about the BBQ later. Probably near the end of the week, but until then hopefully enough bronies will be able to make it to the BBQ on September 9th. @phoenixswift Yes, thanks for posting the google doc, I think it was just to far from the date. Might be better to post it like the week before?
