@abooky It's also coming from someone who's dyed his hair blue before. I like the darker blue, where it's more like black but it shines blue in the light. That, or the same but with red highlights.
-
@abooky yay blue hair ftw

@abooky A pen drive or an OS?
-
@abooky OS, Operating System. Windows is an OS, just like Mac, Linux (and a lot of others that aren't so known) are. I don't know about Windows, but it's quite easy to put Linux on a USB stick and you could just boot from the USB stick and the parental control couldn't affect it, because it's installed under Windows.
-
@abooky Instead of using the installation you have on your computer, controlled by your dad, if you make a fresh installation in a pen drive/flash drive/flash card, you'll have your own unrestricted instalation that you can run in almost any computer.
-
@abooky I do now and then, to some particular songs.
-
@abooky Buy a 32GB pen drive and install an OS there. You'll have your own completely portable installation.
-
@abooky Bye!
-
@abooky Kapersky? Delete that thing. It's bad.
-
@abooky Well, enjoy it while I enjoy my GNUzilla IceCat (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_IceCat). Not to say that Chrome isn't good, it's a really well-made, stable and quick browser, even as a Free Software Hippie I have to admit that :P
-
@abooky I'm sorry, I barely have any ideas except the obvious "Is your account a system administrator account or is it a normal user account?"
-
@abooky If you mean hacker as "someone who looks at source code of software and makes the changes he needs" !coderponies can help. If you mean the kind that breaks into computers (which we call crackers in the computer industry), I have no clue.
-
@abooky "Hacker" is a broad term with some negative connotations to some people. Be more specific?
-
@abooky My parents wouldn't be able to manage me, they don't even know how my system works :3
-
@abooky My parents let me manage everything computer-related here. Which is why I am the only one who actually has access to the router and can remotely control every system in the house, muahaha! :3
-
@abooky My mom still uses Internet Explorer, and I can't get her to go away from it, even after it got into the news for being exploitable as hell again. I did get my grandparents to convert to Mozilla Firefox though, so yay for that!
-
@abooky You have one of those dads who refuses to use different software too, eh?
-
@abooky Good on ya.
-
@abooky Practically everything loads faster than Internet Explorer :P
-
@abooky Well, off to install?
-
@abooky It's not a big deal. It was just a reference to something :P
-
@abooky Chrome and Firefox can both be run off USB devices.
-
-
@abooky Seeing how Internet Explorer is one of the browsers with the most terrible support for web technology, and RDN does use some semi-new stuff (not only 10 years old stuff) that could explain some of the issues. You should consider giving either Mozilla Firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) or Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/landing_chrome.html) a try. There are more, but those two are really good choices and used by a lot of people. I'm not going to promise you it'll fix everything, but there is a fair chance it will.
-
@abooky Your browser is bad and you should feel bad.

-
@abooky Are you sure you're on the "Public timeline" and not on the "Replies" tab? Try clicking the big Rainbow Dash logo to make sure :P
-
@abooky testing... testing....
-
@abooky Doing anything good?
