!vgp Just played through Mortal Kombat (2011) for the first time. At first I thought I wouldn't need anything below Normal difficulty. Apparently I need to play more fighting games. Even on Easy difficulty I had a fair few matches lost, though only to Goro and Shao Kahn.

@carcino I remember MK3 being the same. Even on the easiest difficulty it took me several tries to beat Motaro and Shao Kahn. I know I will have to at some point, but I dread trying to play through on expert.

@ecmc The problem I have with it is the camera makes me nauseous as balls. The game is fun and the plot is interesting, but goddamn that camera.

@ceruleanspark Yeah, it was a bit annoying, and it doesn't help with water flying about all over the place most of the time. Something else that annoyed me a bit was the protagonist's voice (I forget her name already)

!Calgary !vgp so I got lollipop chainsaw. my girlfriend can't stop saying how twilight is so vulgar when she chops off a zombie head with her chainsaw. I think its a great game and reminds me of games like bayonetta or Afro samuri. still looking for pony references in hopes there is some.

@thunderdash I am offended at how the developers don't respect the original design of the maps, nor the original polygon count in wich the first dev team worked so hard.

@toksyuryel Main reason I thought it was big is because the devs have said they don't like stirring up the userbase unless they've got "something big". Considering that they've avoided media releases entirely until now, and the devs have hinted about the release date themselves, I don't think it's unlikely it'll be out before the end of the year. Or I might just be naive and hopeful, either one :D

@ceruleanspark Even if it is, at least we've got some sort of confirmation that Black Mesa's legitimately being worked on. I trust Valve, but they've been rather cagey about HL3/Ep3. I'm sure they have their reasons for it, though...

So "Pony Fantasy 6" has Luna==Sabin and AJ==Cyan. I really would have pictured it the other way, AJ being the brawler and Luna being "Ms. Thou." !vgp

@scribus It kinda sounds like this was thrown together in a hurry and rather lazily at that. Which given the length of time it spent being developed would make sense; it was basically rushed out.

@toksyuryel It's not like it's poorly done, the sprites are solid and the dialogue was done well enough. But, yeah, maybe a bit more input could have helped?
