  10. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Hmm, Interesting. I am begging to fear that its too much of a distributed network (between the five eye counties) to shut down, much like the internet itself. Nice to see the the Legislative having some bite though

  12. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Does the Federal oversight committee have any legal enforcement powers? My example Shows how fast things get done when people in power are theretend. Not to show that SCOUTS never rules in favor of privacy, though its usually against.

  13. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual I'm torn between the fact that I am extremely sympathetic to trans people and that I feel prisons SHOULD be kinder and more rehabilitative, and the fact that well... they're in prison for a reason, I presume.

  14. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual I... what? I can understand letting them have the surgery, but paying for it? I guess it's not my place to say if that's okay

  15. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Though I agree with Cerulean (and don't all jump on me at once) they dont need to take your phone, they already have your data [Prism ect]. So If they did take your Phone / HD ect it would be way more targeted than it is now. Random border collection though, another matter

  16. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual You usally dont get laws that that protect things until it impacts on the judges themselves SEE http://ur1.ca/ghtb0 1988 Video Privacy Protection Act.[30]

  17. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Ironically you're more protected in regards to things in the open when they have a warrant for you than when they don't.

  18. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Apparently they don't need a warrant to read email between computers, so doesn't that set a precedent for email-at-rest on a phone?

  19. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual If the journal was locked, would they be allowed to bypass that?

  20. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual I don't really see what makes digital property different to physical items. Could the police read your journal if they found that in your pocket, or would they need a warrant for that?

  21. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual It's a download. Legends of Equestria. They're running open beta for a weekend, presumably for a convention.

  24. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Haiti has the most cases of HIV per capita as far as I'm aware, plus it's an island, and many people from there would like to leave to live in a better place, so IMO it'd be the ideal grounds for that.

  26. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual In any case my idea is more that of isolation than that of death. It's just a matter of getting enough ground to set up a semi-independent state to relocate everyone infected to, where they can live their lives without putting anyone in risk.

  27. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual The UN frowns upon many thing and does nothing about a lot of other things it should be working on, so I'm pretty sure everyone can agree they're all around bad.

  28. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Organised mass murder tends to be frowned upon by the UN, regardless of the grouping used.

  30. @mylittlesistercantbethisincestual Genetic research is greatly hindered by things like the UN, and free information isn't going to happen without massive amounts of death.
