@caret7 that's the crowd I hang around with yeah. But any true communist society is by definition anarchist, since there is no state.
-
@caret7 That sounds like a weird read. Maybe a nice read.
-
-
@caret7 it's important to retain personal property in any stateless and moneyless society though
-

@caret7 "For exposure" is not payment. I cannot buy food and pay rent with exposure.

@caret7 My copy of Flash is actually very heavily modified. I've got dozens of plugins and stuff installed to make things a little easier.
-
@caret7 I dunno why its programming language matters, but as far as I know, no. Flash, TVPaint, and ToonBoom are all written in C++, ToonBoom being the program used by Family Guy, The Simpsons, and The Lion King II: Simba's Pride.

@northernnarwhal @caret7 @riley I think 'Brony culture' has always been a struggle between two extremes. 1) firstly a very modern liberal conception of personal freedom, where everyone should be able to be who they want to be regardless of geder, secualty race or age. and on the other 2) a group of men coming in to take something that is amined and meant for little girls.
And sadly after episode MLP100 the second group has won and I agree with everything @caret7 (http://rainbowdash.net/notice/3940788) The eppiosode was akin to a buch of playground bullies taking away the sand pit. -
@caret7 I imagine if I ever got back into the show it would just be that- me being a fan of the show. That isn't to say I wouldn't enjoy fan works though, as communal culture is very important in the world of art! I'm just awfully apprehensive with the word "brony" and the prospect of "brony culture", I disagree with the notions of categorically identifying with my media. I feel that a term like "brony", aside from being weighted with some less than pleasurable connotations, is also reflective of a philosophy of media engagement that works more on the framework of an identity complex than that of critical evaluation or visceral enjoyment. My message doesn't technically spoil anything that happened in the episode and is more of just my reaction to it, but yeah, you'd be better off reading it after watching the episode.
-
@caret7 Yeah overall I've enjoyed this season.
-
@caret7 For me there was never really anything that specifically caused me to stop watching the show, I just got bored of it around season 3 and haven't really watched it since. I did watch e100 though, mostly out of (very) morbid curiosity. I wrote my thoughts on that here http://rainbowdash.net/notice/3940788
-
@caret7 I haven't watched MLP in months lmao
-
@caret7 Hey
-
@caret7 That way, I get a colored pencil drawing with a black background.

@caret7 I have been busy with work and looking for a different job. I used Daily Motion to watch Season 4. I should see if there are any Season 5 episodes there.
