Story Time: 10 years ago I used to play a browser based strategy game called Xenocide 3001, and as a result of playing that and hanging out on their boards, I was introduced to the furry fandom. As a result of that, I met the people I'd eventually roleplay tactician and getway driver Serrio with. We played, we fought the power, and eventually, between internet issues, house moving, and my partial withdrawal from that fandom, we all lost contact with eachother. It's now 2013, and I've ended up playing a knockoff of it called Exorace (the interstellar war I've mentioned in passing). A lot of the old XC3K1 playerbase actually found exorace somehow, and I ended up talking to a guy who actually knew one of the people I used to RP with. Today he gave me some upsetting news: The guy who played Syris, the white wolf who was our groups sniper/heavy weapons guy actually died a few years back. It's odd to find out someone you thought was alive all this time...isn't.
