    • After a careful investigation of the Manchester attacks, we were able to determine the identity of the perpetrator based on the fact that the attack happened at around UK midnight and it could be described as an "evil bombing" http://villains.wikia.com/wiki/Evil_Midnight_Bomber_What_Bombs_At_Midnight

            • Then again, I always prefer to buy the last model of a proven architecture than one of the first of a promising new architecture. Tends to be much more stable and more than enough to last until the upcoming design is perfected or more. With this new card I'm again able to run anything on ultra on a phenom 1100t. I love that CPU.

                  • @bob The correct answer is "they didn't wear medieval armour" - I can name on one hand the number of historical incidences of women combatants we can actually verify.  Suggesting otherwise to appeal to modern sensibilities is literally historical revisionism.

                  • Well, my GPU died the other day. Was using a Sapphire HD6870 since 2011 without any issues, but it started malfunctioning through the week, and after three consecutive power outages in one morning started displaying vertical blue bars on the screen. Ended up buying a new one on saturday and when I tried to install it I realized this card had a DVI-D slot instead of DVI-I (why DVI-D exists when DVI-I only has 4 more pins so the production cost difference is negligible and it's capable of every possible combination of pins is anyone's guess) so I had to wait until monday to get a new cable. Just finished installing that, but on the plus side now I'm using a XFX Rx 580 instead and the 7 extra GB of video memory help quite a bit.

                    • Because people have a /really/ bad tendency to pick the most stupid names if allowed, any MMO that doesn't have strict naming rules is an example of this.
