@purpletinker Guys, I am currently in a funk here. Rainbowdash.net's 1st birthday is approaching (April 4), and it appears that ponies are leaving, and simply not staying with us because this site gets old pretty quick. I am considering options on how to give our site a make over... but I don't know what you guys want in a social networking site for bronies! If you have suggestions, let me know... or we are not going to invest any more money, time or effort in keeping this place alive. @ceruleanspark Perhaps you should set up a dedicated ad fund pool. And as the fund keeps growing you keep using the current amount to try bidding on a spot on Derpibooru/etc. DB uses a bid system now a days. Just a food for thought.

Looks like it's possible that the site problems were due to us exceeding the daily quota for the geolocation service we used. Or a DoS attack. Or both! 9.6

@colfax I disabled the geolocation plugin for now. Let's see if it helps. If so, I can probably implement a local geolocation proxy. That'd cut down on the number of requests we send.

I have a bit of a mini-contest with a real prize. If someone can design a Law enforcement badge design w/transparent background, with the words Brony Intelligence Department (B.I.D.) with the motto of your choosing (must be serious and reflect the Brony community values) I will mail the winner a Crystal Rainbow Dash keychain. png is preferred format, along with a SVG if you know how.
