@jinny Oooh! Speaking of which, today I had an about 5 hour long break in school, and I played Blood pretty much all the time! I'm beginning to like it more and more! Managed to get past some carnival level or something. And I ran around on a trail for a while. But I think that was before the carnival. 8D

@flaxx Did you get the secret exit in Dark Carnival? If not go look for it. ;) The secret level for Episode 1 is killer.

@flaxx Ah well, if you hit the regular exit you goto, "Hallowed Grounds" E1M5 but if you goto the secret one you goto "House of Horrors".

@jinny I see... Is there any way of looking up where you are at the moment? Right now I have no idea, really. I remember running around in some kind of cathedral or something, where I killed lots of gargoyles.

@flaxx If you hit the 'TAB' key, you can see what current map you're on, as well as a top down view of the level.

@jinny No I mean, I get the little text and everything but the rest of the screen goes black, apart from my health bar etc. which just flashes on the bottom of the screen.

@flaxx Yeah it's probably one of my favorite FPS of all time, just because A. It still looks great. B. It's different. I mean it's hard to beat Horror theme in the 1930s.

@jinny True. I love the graphics, it's amazing. And so did my friends who saw me play it. And it's getting way more fun now that I actually have some other weapons than just the trident. Or perhaps I've just gotten used to dying once a minute. XD

@flaxx Yeah IMHO, modern games do not hold a candle to the brilliant mixing of 2D and 3D of those classic FPS games, I'm more than a little biased though. xD

@flaxx Haha thanks man. That's the plan, just slowly but surely coding it. hehe. It actually does not use the GPU at all. It's all done from scratch by my own code. xD No OpenGL or DirectX for me. xD I'm too old school. :P

@flaxx Nothing too specific. Lucid dreams would be awesome, but I also just find it interesting. I use some as ideas for writing. Mostly just for curiosity's sake, I guess.
