@scoot Awesome! I've been using one for about two years now (was the first Mini that used NVidia video), and still love it. Very problem-free, and still flies for what I need it to do. (Then again, so does my old dual G4 that came before it, when I need it to.)

@scoot Heh... they got you with the advertising no doubt... for the same price I could have gotten a beast computer running Ubuntu, or Arch, or any other Linux distro, then again, I am one of the most anti-apple people on this site

@the20percent If you're so anti-apple why did you bother trying to ruin my day? It's not ADVERTISING that got me either, I use Macs at College and happen to be a fan, also it was £529 I'd like to see you get a "Beast computer" for that price.

@scribus That is SO ME. But no, what I meant was that getting the price reduction offered only to university students and then dropping out of university meant I got a cut-price Mac and none of the studying!

@scribus I dont think thats quite the situation. I paid way more than £529 for this Mac. When converted, I paid $821.17 for the BASIC model, which is only $599 on the US Apple site.

@scoot That's part of being anti-apple XD I just think that no other company limits its users to such an extreme. For 529 Pounds, or roughly 740$, I found an excellent Intel computer with I forgot if it was 6 or 8 gigs of ram.

@flaxx I'm considered a software extremist. I'm happy for him that he's happy, however I was pointing out that there are higher up computers for the cash that are more customizable. Plus, I cringe at the mention of apple, for the evils they have committed.
