@rdfan Well it's better they not handle that part of the fandom's iteration at all, than handle it poorly. Not their job to placate the fandom at every turn but still, might just cause less reasons for people to complain.

@awlderpy Well, Derpy wasn't a main character anyway, so that so that probably adds to the reason. But he was big in the fanbase.
