No gods or kings, only Trixie.

@ceruleanspark http://ur1.ca/g579s ... I made a religion called "The Great and Powerfull Religion" about 3 playthroughs ago ( not counting Brave New World playthroughs. For my playstyle is not even closely interwoven with religion anymore in that game... fanboyism or ponification I believe my latest religion was called )

@snowcone Or we should create yet another status.net ponysite called thegreatandpowerfulltrixienetwork and every and all users will be banned if they do not say "trixie" and/or "great" in every post... We will call "posts" "boasts"

@snowcone I highly recommend getting Civ5 Gods and Kings and play through it a few times ( Pirate it if needed ) and then save up for the next Steam Sale which is bound to have a Civ5 pack including every DLC ( Although you could have gotten every DLC for like 33 Euro last Steam sale if you really wanted ). Why ? Main reason is that vanilla is nearly unplayable and sometimes kinda broken, G&K adds a lot of functionality and some new concepts, making the game good. and BNW introduces an overhaul of concepts making it neigh impossible to comprehend for newcomers, but making the game AWESOME in the process.

@snowcone For instance, it is SOOO easy to get money in vanilla and G&K for some if not most trade goods and strategic resources ( they are to be found on tiles, Iron would be a strategic resource, and gemstones would be a trade-good ) generate money aswell as the recourse/goods. You can use money to buy a variaty of things. At one point in the game of G&K I got over 1000 gold per turn, effectively just "buying" myself military units when under a siege. expanding my kingdom by sheer show of force or bribes... all feuled by cash... In BNW however, tiles do not generate money anymore, but the value of trade goods and strategic resources have been quadruppled ( about ) for the AI players, Also you can make trade-routes. ( Which need to be defended against pirates. Either sand or sea or forrest, or barbarians, depending on your type of trade-route )

@critialcloudkicker Trade routes bring in cash, and spread influence/religion far and wide. Depending on how you create your trade-routes. ... Spreading your religion "ponification" to vatican-city ? Sure why not :)

@snowcone That stuff makes it so hard to manage compared to back in G&K when you have no idea about the basicals
