  1. What console should I play today? PS2 or Xbox 360?

    1. @datpolishguy That depends on the games you have, duh. Nobody plays the boot screen on their console.

      1. @redenchilada I have the PS2 and PSOne's boot screen noises embedded in my head.

        1. @datpolishguy Weirdo. Slim PS2? We had one of those for a while until it broke.

          1. @redenchilada I think the slim is actually the more stable of the two. I went through like 3 fat PS2s.

            1. @mrmattimation The slim we bought after my parents moved away from each other the most recent time lasted less than a year. In contrast, we've had our fat PS2 for... this Christmas marks ten years, and although the first controller port fell apart (not to an unusable degree), it still works fine.

            2. @mrmattimation I got this PS2 in 2005, it still is alive and well, only problem is won't read a disk unless I press down on the disk cover.

          2. @redenchilada so i'm not the only one who thinks the bigger playstations were more resilient.

            1. @awlderpy The big PS2 was definitely the more durable. The PS1, I can't say for sure (we went through probably half a dozen between the big and slim models when I was a kid) and we've only ever had one PS3 (the slim not super-slim model) so I dunno.

              1. @redenchilada my foster brother had owned the larger psx and it was pretty durable, managing to take his abuse. I had the n64 in the family... Oh those were the days.

                1. @awlderpy It's funny, I always considered the N64 the superior console of that generation, yet more of the games I like from then were on the PS1.
