@derpyisbestpony221 He may still recover if he finds Christ!
-
@nerthos Speaking of Christ, the UN finally stepped out and told the Vatican to get rid of all the pedophiles.
-
@nerthos maby and i just found out my bro is gay I'm happy for him
-
@mrmattimation Utterly hilarious, that they step out and pretend to be responsible for it when the Pope has been conducting an in-depth purge for the last few months.

@derpyisbestpony221 I'm pretty sure @nerthos was mocking the religious nuts who believe homosexuality is a sin.
-
@nerthos I know he has, but, I mean... better late than never, right UN?

@mrmattimation oh well see ya
-
@mrmattimation I'd rather the UN being the stupid, hypocrital and ineffective organization it is kept their opinions to themselves. They have no right to demand of other organizations when they themselves are unable and unwilling to do the job they were formed to do.
-
@nerthos Amen to that, man. Although I don't think the UN is COMPLETELY ineffective. I like to think it's kept a World War III from happening.
-
@mrmattimation Or, at the very least, delayed it.
-
@mrmattimation The UN has nothing to do with it. They do their best to ignore and push under the rug most wars, the ones they should step in to solve. What has kept a world war 3 from happening has been both mutually assured destruction and the fact that many countries are still terrified of full scale war since WWII. The only powers that get into wars nowadays are USA and Russia, and both of them do it to steal resources from other smaller countries and try to establish a political façade.
-
@nerthos Sshhhhhhhhhhh. Let me live in my bubble, Nerthos.
-
@mrmattimation I'll give you truth either on a plate or as the coating of a dagger.
-
@nerthos Out of curiosity (because I AM dangerously curious about lots of stuff) what IS your opinion on world powers like Russia and the US?
-
@mrmattimation I have many opinions on each of them since there are lots of areas to cover, but for the most part they're both expansionist countries. They both do lots of bad things, but for the most part I like Russia more than USA because Russia has some nice laws like anti-DRM and they're more honest when confronted about their wrongdoings. USA has a hideous tendency towards directly and indirectly killing innocents and then trying to justifty their actions with half-assed excuses that at this point only convince their most die-hard supporters. USA also has a big hard on for doing as much as possible to remove individual rights from their own citizens. On the other hand, both of them claim to hate and fight terrorism while at the same time providing terrorist organizations with both money and weapons.
-
@nerthos So that's the government, but what about... Like... The people? I feel like a lot of people here that aren't from the US take the papayas out of American citizens simply for being American.
-
@mrmattimation There are good and bad people everywhere, regardless of country. I've met nice people from both places. Cultures are different, yeah, and there's things I don't like about both, but there's a lot of nice things in both places. I don't like people who buy into the official discourse, but that's valid for both. From USA I like some of the cultural heritage, like cowboys and southern gentlemen. From Russia I like how manhood seems to still be a thing and people are relatively hardy. From Russia I dislike how people seem to be indifferent towards some wrongs, and from USA I dislike the whole reverse racism cultural phenomenon. Still, as I've said, both places have good and bad people.

@nerthos Cowboys? omfg appropriation of my culture I'm gonna sue
-
