@clayinthecarpet Why would they shape a battle rifle with a shoulder stock though? They could massively cutdown on bulk and weight.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:45:08 UTC from web-
@ceruleanspark It's all in the magic, honestly.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:47:03 UTC from web -
@ceruleanspark it is strange the amount of art concerning this that has conventionally shaped guns. Maybe only the last diagram i saw of a battle saddle had no shoulder stocks?
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:47:15 UTC from web-
@awlditzy I've seen a bunch of pistols actually shaped for mouthwielding, some even with custom reloading mechanisms
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:48:10 UTC from web-
@ceruleanspark Sounds like it'd be hard on the dentition.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:49:26 UTC from web-
@scribus The idea was that the actual "grip" rests on the same part of the jaw a traditional equine bit does, transmitting the shockwave into the strong neck and jaw muscles.

@ceruleanspark Oh, that makes a lot of sense like that.

@ceruleanspark oh? I might have seen a version of little macintosh like that but i presumed it was just being held sideways.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:50:04 UTC from web-
@awlditzy The Sky Bandit is enchanted in the same way.

@ceruleanspark It's actually explained within the story that these magical artifacts are enchanted to weigh almost nothing.

@clayinthecarpet Are you trying to out Fallout-Equestria me.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:48:39 UTC from web-

@clayinthecarpet i thought that had pertained to the armour and not whatever mounts. I could be wrong.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:49:16 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Calamity certainly didn't enchant his.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:50:14 UTC from web -
@awlditzy You are wrong. Calamity wields Spitfire's main weapon for the majority of the story and it's magically enchanted to weigh little to nothing

@clayinthecarpet ах вижу

@scribus it's all gleep gloop glop in a few decades. We'll all be one people.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:55:18 UTC from web-
@awlditzy Just can't predict if we'll all speak Esperanto or Lojban so I don't know which one to study.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:58:07 UTC from web-
@scribus the former had a movement of various extent since it's creation; however it's really only geared towards those who already speak something indo-european.

@clayinthecarpet He uses his Battle Saddle more, because the ammunition for Spitfires thunder is comparatively rare. You're correct about it being enchanted though.
Wednesday, 12-Feb-14 20:53:23 UTC from web-
@ceruleanspark Ah yes...His Battle Saddle for the non-Enclave armor is basically the Spitfire bit.
