@thatonestocking I can't quite recall what they called it but there was this NG:E AU manga where everyone was much better adjusted and it focused more on high school drama than whatever the hell NG:E was actually about.

@thelastgherkin I have, in fact, watched Evangelion. I don't hate it. I never said I did. It's just kind of the exception to a lot of stuff? I feel like it gets more praise than it's worth, but it's detractors give it more hate than it deserves. The way I see it is that it's a slightly above middle line product that has been blown out of proportion as either the best or worst thing in the world. It's not either of those things.
