@nerthos Obama recently had a press conference about raising the minimum wage in America, which is obviously unpopular with the Republicans because it means business owners have to start paying their employees decent wages. Anyway, the White House posted a video of the president's conference and the comments were so polarized. Half of them were all "Why can't poor people learn to not be poor?" and the other half were "ALL REPUBLICANS ARE EVIL".

@nerthos Your inability to take American politics seriously is admirable. I say a lot that I don't care about things, but politics is something that I sincerely do care about, and sometimes I feel I'd be happier if I didn't care about that stuff.

@mrmattimation It's just so foreign to me. It doesn't affect me at all, it's incredibly silly, and USA will never be an actual ally/reliable faction. So of course I just poke fun at it.
