          @scoot I guess that could work. The only problem is this laptop didn't appear to come with a restore disc so I have no way to get Windows back up and running.

            @mrmattimation Yes there is, but it involves a brand new Windows install disc. So it'll cost you whatever Windows 8 costs to fix everything

            @mrmattimation Also it /will/ work, it's how I fixed my netbook when I accidentally destroyed some important Windows files one time.
