@nerthos As has the old prime minister of the Netherlands. Also Sweden if I am not mistaken. And the guy from Mexico. That did not mean they absolutely sucked. The best method to preserve the image still being as awesome is by not letting anyone cover the contrary of that fact. Now I am not saying Putin could not beat up Obama in a fair battle of fisticuffs. But I am saying we will never find out what Putin has left in him.

@nerthos I do not think that there is any chance EVER that 1 prime minister takes on a sparring match of anything physical with another prime minister. Except if they become the bestest of best friends or something. And they they will probably do it when there is no media present.

@nerthos Pretty much that they will not allow themselves to be seen in a bad light, especially versus another country. Having "commoners" and "plebs" battle it out in a "friendly competition" of sports is one thing. But leaders should be portrayed as strong, and powerfull, no matter how they actually are. This is more true in Europe than in South- and North- America. And even more true in any part of Europe west of the Berlin wall. Putin will be portrayed as a topless bronze god on a pearly white horse, even if he is a coward. People will idolize him because of what is known of him, not of what he is. And manipulation of the information how you are known is what keeps him famous.

@critialcloudkicker The thing is, countries of today have presidents and prime ministers, but they don't have actual leaders. An actual leader would propose a one on one fight with another leader rather than a war, for example, and wouldn't go around surrounded by bodyguards like some scared merchant. I think the only leaders left today are figures like the Pope.

@mastertdi Not really. You'd be surprised. I mean, I've put on actual steel plate armor and it isn't half as uncomfortable as people make it out to be. And it has literally no flexibility, whilst modern anti bullet armor does have some.

@nerthos KCT pretty much teaches you to anticipate the intelligence that is leaked to your enemy so you can counter-anticipate what they are anticipating. What they never anticipate is a few more AP rounds and less tracert-rounds in handcannons and PDW's... So yea... I'd say "this depends GREATLY on where you are"

@critialcloudkicker Pretty much. You can expect ap rounds if you're in enemy territory, but not in, say, your government palace where there's metal detectors and guards that register people.

@nerthos I would, especially if I were going to assassinate someone behind heavy security, ready a silencer which is not made out of metal/heavy-carbon. And only have as many hollowpoints as I knew it was going to take me for the absolute maximum, the rest would be AP/HP, or even HEAP if it existed for handpistols/handcannons. Also, I thought it was .22 caliber AP weapons that were really in favour with asassins.

@nerthos You do not need a metal gun to properly use something as a gun, there are only a few components that should be made from metal. You can make a very effective revolver with just a drum, hammer, and muzzle made from metal. And a silencer for 1, maybe 2 shots can be made with a bottle of coca cola ( the small ones ), and even more if you have the patience to load it up with a sponge. ... Still if you wanna kill someone, a gun might not even be the most effective method...

If you really want something done, and you have unlimited funding, it will be done. Whether by some elaborate plan, or a suicide bomber. Funding is the cornerstone of every security versus anti-security.

The only reason the pope has so much control is because he is the head of a massive set of cults. I believe the last "true leaders" as you call it died out far too quickly somewhere in the middle ages. Ofcourse this was also when "countries" were as big as, lets say a third of "zeeland" ( the province ) at best. Humanity ( and in turn, the masses ) have come to accept that there are no more "true leaders" but rather people we pay to govern our intentions the best to their abilities ( pay in the form of taxes )
