On another note, THE BUCKING RUSSIANS, ARE GIVING THEM THE BUCKING MISSILES, AND THEN BLAMING SOMEONE ELSE, ARE YOU KIDDING ME!
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:40:17 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash Hey, that's a common thing in today's world. Many big powers do that to avoid the political cost of open war. Russia, USA, China, and quite a few others.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:42:38 UTC from web-
@nerthos http://rainbowdash.net/url/769765 They gave them the missiles. They need to pay for it.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:44:07 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash Really hoping you aren't suggesting war, because that would papayas the economy.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:45:04 UTC from web-
@zeldatra Did I say war, no. At least, the UN needs to come forward and blame russia publicly for helping the rebels. We need to openly make sure the russians know that they bucked up. The russians hopefully WILL stop if we put sanctions and have a bad public image
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:47:43 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash the way to go is to put more economic sanctions on russia and to publicly blame them for what they have done.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:48:16 UTC from web -
@rainbowsdash The UN won't do anything. The UN is the most useless international organization there is.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:48:21 UTC from web -
@rainbowsdash Right but the US is doing exactly the same thing as Russia. As is China.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:49:27 UTC from web-
@zeldatra so we are arming and training unstable millitants with out a stable government nor a proper chain of command to fire surface to air ballistic missiles capable of shooting down passenger jets at 35k altitudes or higher. What have I missed
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:51:42 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash You've missed at least 50 years of international history.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:52:13 UTC from web-
@nerthos I know we havn't done that
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:52:44 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash Then you're misinformed.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:52:57 UTC from web-
@nerthos The only close thing I can think of was when we funded the iron dome system with Israel, and the time we shot down the passenger jet by accident.

@rainbowsdash Afghanistan is an example that comes to mind. Back in the '80s USA was supplying them with all kinds of weaponry to cause trouble and weaken the USSR. Funnily enough, one of the leaders that was rising to prominence among those militias was Osama Bin Laden.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:56:50 UTC from web-
@nerthos surface to air missiles hitting at 35k plus altitude? also, did we know that osama and the taliban were going to become what they are today?
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:58:08 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash Yes, we had an idea... they slaughtered a village or two...
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:58:37 UTC from web-
@metaltao did it push back the ussr, yes
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:59:17 UTC from web -
@metaltao WHO WERE THE RUSSIANS!
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:59:27 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash And were Sunnis and Shietes. (or what it papayass?) and WERE PEOPLE!

@rainbowsdash Yes and yes. Supplying them with weapons without the capability of hitting MIGs and the like would have been pointless. Osama and the Bushs were long time friends, so there's really no credible way to say "we weren't aware of this at all".

@rainbowsdash Just one example: we're funding the military of Israel, which is currently bombarding the Gaza Strip in the very under-equipped Hamas with missiles.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:53:47 UTC from web-
@zeldatra Once again, if mexico started firing missiles into Texas, what would the US government do?
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:54:45 UTC from web -
@zeldatra we would blow them to grapes
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:54:56 UTC from web-
@rainbowsdash Let's bring up a more accurate analogy. Let's say somebody from Mexico comes over into Texas, kidnaps three teenagers, and murders them. Are we going to go to war over that?

@rainbowsdash I'm not saying they aren't responsible, I'm saying that if you're going to start sanctioning countries for giving separatist factions weapons, a third of the world's countries will have to be sanctioned.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:46:04 UTC from web-
@nerthos Including, I might add, the United States, who has funded Israel's military, which is currently shelling Gaza with missiles.
Saturday, 19-Jul-14 01:46:58 UTC from web-
@zeldatra USA goes without saying, since they're the flagship of that method.

@awlkhalyan Haven't seen you in a while. The fact that I wasn't aware of this accountprobably has something to do with that.
