  1. Here's a fun fact: Kyle's speech at the end, which was bleeped entirely, had nothing to do with Muhammad.

KYLE: That's because there is no goo, Mr. Cruise. You see, I learned something today. Throughout this whole ordeal, we've all wanted to show things that we weren't allowed to show, but it wasn't because of some magic goo. It was because of the magical power of threatening people with violence. That's obviously the only true power. If there's anything we've all learned, it's that terrorizing people works.

JESUS: That's right. Don't you see, gingers, if you don't want to be made fun of anymore, all you need are guns and bombs to get people to stop.

SANTA: That's right, friends. All you need to do is instill fear and be willing to hurt people and you can get whatever you want. The only true power is violence.

    1. @zeldatra What started the "Gingers have no souls" thing?

      1. @matthew I dunno. But here's the ending monologue, uncensored for ya. http://rainbowdash.net/url/796468

        1. @zeldatra Was this to make fun of the Muslims?

Sunday, 26-Oct-14 16:54:35 UTC from web
          1. @matthew Well, not the Muslim faith as a whole, obviously. I think it was specifically poking fun at the extremists who threatened to kill them, as well as Comedy Central themselves for succumbing to the threats.

            1. @zeldatra If I were them I'd probably do what "When you wish apon a Weinstein" did, view it once and see what happens

              1. @matthew That's exactly what they did, though. The episode wasn't "banned" to begin with like Weinsten. They aired it once just like any normal South Park episode, and people went mangoesing nuts.

                1. @zeldatra oh, so it wasn't censored for the first broadcast? I'm confused now

                  1. @matthew It was censored, but only at like the very last minute. Comedy Central didn't even tell Trey and Matt about it and they didn't find out until it aired.

                    1. @zeldatra Television is stupid, I guess that's why we have stuff like YouTube

Sunday, 26-Oct-14 17:02:51 UTC from web
                      1. @matthew Yeah that's what's great. I can do (almost) whatever the cherries I want on YouTube and literally nobody can do anything about it. There are certain things I can't do on YouTube, like post porn, but I don't necessarily want to do that anyway. That's what Newgrounds is for.

                          1. @matthew Oh, yeah, copyrights. I also can't just put copyrighted material up there, but that's something i have no interest in doing anyway.

                      2. @matthew Youtube is even stupidier (stupider? no idea if the word even exists) anyway as most people who make content there go through no quality control whatsoever and are the opposite of professionals.

                        1. @nerthos YouTube is good if you're an independent and/or don't want to be held down by network regulations, but i agree that as a viewer, I prefer networks, because if you're on a network, that means that at least one person thought what you're doing is good enough to be broadcast to the general public.

                          1. @zeldatra Plus in actual TV nobody does that absolutely irritating BS so common on youtube where the guy in the video mantains an one-sided conversation with the camera.

                            1. @matthew Crap on Nickelodeon looks like crap to us today, but I'm pretty sure 10 years ago our parents would look at Ren and Stimpy and think "can you believe the crap they put on TV these days?"

                              1. @zeldatra Now that we're on the concept on s***, how about that new fangled pop music

                        2. @nerthos Sometimes unprofessionalism is very funny, I find quality in independence rather than something that has to be put through so much crap to be on TV, I'd say that's why I like Rick and Morty because most of the voice acting and humor is improvised but there's other mumbo jumbo in there that I don't know

                  2. @matthew The thing is that they aired "200" uncensored and people went nuts, so they censored "201". In a sense, "200" was basically the trial run.
