        @thelastgherkin She's bisexual for the same reason that Dumbledore is gay and Applejacks parents are dead. One of the writers showed up at the end and said it was so.

          @ceruleanspark I knew Dumbledore was because that book came out at a time when I was discovering myself sexually and was particularly receptive to homosexual subtext. In Korra's case I read an interview with a guy that said Nickelodeon wouldn't allow them to explicitly state it.
