@metaltao Nitor in adversum
Saturday, 28-Feb-15 04:59:01 UTC from web-
@mrdee This phrase is in firstperson, based on the fact that it has teh Suffix, "-sum". It means, "I am something in/within Nitor."
What ever Adversum means, add that to where the word something is.
And, I do not know what Nitor means.Saturday, 28-Feb-15 05:01:26 UTC from web-

@mrmattimation American was the name of a Real language in Illinois from around 1960, it no longer is, but I forget the details.

@caret7 anything would help at this point
Saturday, 28-Feb-15 05:01:13 UTC from web-
@mrdee What specifically is the dead end?
Saturday, 28-Feb-15 05:03:12 UTC from web-
@caret7 an old book talking about Henry Albert Harper
Saturday, 28-Feb-15 05:04:22 UTC from web-
@mrdee If you don't have time to read the book and reflect, do the following: read the intro and conclusion thoroughly, without looking at anything else. Then, for the first chapter, skim the text for headings and titles. Write down any questions you have about the headings, even if it is "why is this important?" Then, skim the text looking for the answers to those questions. This is derived from SQR3 method.Since, you are looking for answers instead of reading aimlessly, it'll be more engaging

@caret7 THe most important thing to remember for this method: Do NOT read every little thing. Look for keywords and stuff, and only the answers to your questions. You should unknowingly pick up other facts along the way.
