    3. @mrmattimation Generally because you have a lot of individual joints that comprise hands, so they all have to be accounted for in your framing and even small changes in perspective can then affect the size ratios when drawing. Hands are probably more dynamic than any other body part in art, and can't be exaggerated as much as things like heads and torsos so it's harder to get away with using tricks to draw them.
