      @merrytiffmas I wouldn't recommend it. From what I've seen the writing is awful. The show is unbelievably snide and mean-spirited, its themes are resentful and angry, and it doesn't care about the impressionability of its audience.

          @merrytiffmas South Park embodies all the nasty nitty gritties of reactionary politics, but it also refuses to give a FrankerZ about anything. It has this overt centrist idea that anyone attempting to honestly engage with anything is an inherent negative, and that detached apathy makes you intellectually superior to anyone who'd dare reckon with complex social and societal constructs. Above anything else I disagree with the show and just about everything it stands for.

      @merrytiffmas Watch Season 18 then watch Season 19. 18 is when they first tried the whole connected storyline thing and it was a really shaky first attempt BUT I think that it's a necessary watch to really appreciate how far they'd come and how much of an improvement the newest one is.

          @merrytiffmas Honestly I could argue all day and all night about why I personally enjoy South Park, but what's the point? If you enjoy it, good, if you don't, those are your own tastes which make you unique and I wouldn't want it any other way. You go ahead and do you.
