@mrmattimation I know there are a handful of people online who don't like him and I really hope they don't harass him during this time

@mrmattimation Oh gosh, that's horrible. No one should have to lose their mother at 7. I'm not really familiar with his work, but my heart goes out to Patton and his daughter.

@narwhal I think Patton Oswalt and his family have a house out here. When Patton's not in LA they visit a lot of the local businesses frequently, at least, so they must live in the area. Plus he went to my high school and whatnot... I'm very distanced from the situation, having never met the deceased in my life, but at the same time I feel like some of the people in my community are going to be hit pretty hard.

@mrmattimation I'm sure the family had lots of friends and acquaintances in the general area, especially since Patton is a comedian and entertainer. I hope everyone affected by it is able to cope well.

@narwhal Adam Baldwin, one of Oswalt's loudest critics, is being very respectful about the whole thing. Hopefully others follow suit.

@mrmattimation I hope this is the case. Attacking someone while (and especially because) they're grieving is a super low blow.
