@adiwan It looks cool. I might buy it. I dunno yet.

@mrmattimation I don't know how to judge it. So far it looks like a PS Vita with detachable controllers and a TV out.

@adiwan >Basketball court a few meters away
>Whips out two consoles to play virtual basketball
Truly the future -
@adiwan I'm gonna assume the home console plays smoother than the handheld, unless they somehow managed to fit all of that power in the handheld itself and the console is just a shell. (Assuming it has power. Which Nintendo consoles usually don't.)

@mrmattimation @adiwan Maybe the plugged in base has extra refrigeration and power output. Could be done with an APU and a decent li-ion battery. Mobile technology has advanced a lot so as long as you have a decent video unit in there, you won't lack clock speed. Battery life won't be great, but they can likely get 2-3 hours out of it. Set it to a capped output for power saving mode, and uncapped for plugged in. With smart positioning they can get away with it. It won't be a supercomputer of course considering they're showcasing a 5 years old game in their presentation, but still better than current hanhelds.

@adiwan that's thing is gonna eat through the battery faster than you can say Pokemon GO

@zennx I was thinking about the batteries too. I wonder how long they'll last.
